Rebecca - A Heartfelt Storyteller and Vocalist 

Meet Rebecca, a passionate singer and songwriter who hails from a quaint Midwestern village and now resides in Vancouver, Washington. Her musical odyssey has taken her to the vibrant urban landscapes of Chicago and Los Angeles, as well as significant collaborations with producers around the world. A seasoned studio vocalist with a powerhouse voice, a wide vocal range, and an instinct for creating ear-pleasing melodies, harmonies, and lyrics, Rebecca takes your songs to the next level with a vocal prowess that is dedicated to putting her heart and soul into every project. With ten years of studio experience, her vocals consistently exceed her clients' expectations. Her versatile tone and range, reminiscent of major international artists, have brought her voice to music for global brands such as Disney, Coca-Cola, Banana Republic, Beach Body, Warner Music Group, and Warner Chappel

Rebecca is known for her authenticity and warm approach, which makes her more than just a singer – she is a true creative partner. Working remotely allows her to collaborate with musicians and creators worldwide. One of these collaborators is Jani, with whom they have been creating music under the name Mastermind since 2022, driven by a seamless connection and deep creative understanding – even though they have never met face to face

Jani - Architect of Rhythms and Compositions

Jani is a Finnish musician, composer and songwriter whose musical journey began over 40 years ago. Music played every day in his childhood home, and Jani found his way into the world of rhythms early on by banging out a drum kit made of pots and pillows to the beat of dance hits playing at home. He got his first real drums at the age of 9 – and since then, daily practice has been a part of his life. He started playing in bands soon after a school friend got a bass, and his first exciting live performance was at a high school disco, where Jani played 90s heavy and rock classics in the Cetus band. His omnivorousness when it comes to music has led him to many genres, and over the decades, Jani has gained experience in a wide range of genres – as a listener, player and composer.

Although I have been writing my own compositions and lyrics for a long time, a few years ago my music-making took a new, more professional direction. Jani originally started Mastermind as an experimental, one-man project playing progressive fusion instrumentals. Everything changed when Miss Geist (Rebecca) joined – and the collaboration took things to a whole new level. Today, Jani composes and writes the lyrics, while Rebecca develops and arranges the catchy melodies and themes into compositions. The areas of responsibility live and change in creative interaction, which constantly enriches Mastermind's musical perspective. The connection with Rebecca is natural and inspiring – and now Mastermind is more than the sum of its parts.
